Our Mission

To improve the quality of life for our community members by providing social, recreational, educational and health programs, services, supports and referrals.

The Russell Heights Community House has been serving the community for nearly 30 years.  We serve a culturally diverse, rent-geared-to-income social housing community in Southeast Ottawa. The community is comprised of large families, many of which are headed by single parents or recent immigrants.

The role of the Community House is to provide ongoing and creative strategies to connect with vulnerable children, youth and adults and to facilitate the development of social inclusion. Overall health is greatly impacted by social inclusion.
