Our Food Bank provides fresh, frozen and shelf-stable food for families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. We serve 75 + households each week, from single parents struggling to make ends meet to senior citizens on a fixed income. 25% of the people we serve at our Food Bank are residents of the Russell Heights community, while 75% reside in neighbouring communities.

Russell Heights Community House is grassroots, community-led nonprofit

RHCH is an inclusive community space where everyone is welcome. Children, youth and adults connect with others through events and activities, access a range of supports, and play a vital role in strengthening their own community.

We are committed to fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are celebrated, and all individuals can thrive.

We strive to create a culture where everyone, especially those from marginalized communities, is empowered, heard and supported.

We prioritize equity, fairness and justice, ensuring all people are treated with dignity and respect.

Our goal is to actively reduce disparities an ensure that every person, regardless of their background or identity, has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
